Mashed potato THERMOMIXWith butterfly, using "Melody" potatoes from France and whole milk the mash's consistency was quite dense, and very good in taste.

Quick Chocolate CupcakesHaving used the suggested 1/2 cup of cocoa, these cupcakes taste very breadlike, non-fluffy and smell a bit burnt - even when baked not too long. Nice and fast, but not very enjoyable. Sorry. I'll be looking for a better tasting egg-free recipe.

Cornmeal MuffinsThese muffins aren't fluffy, but rather bread-like and compact. The smell is mostly of sugar than fresh, steaming cornmeal. Might have messed them up since I used whole cane sugar. I certainly wasn't expecting the dense consistency, though I only had them in the oven for 12 minutes. Could imagine they'd taste better when adding cranberries to dough.

The Best Buttermilk WafflesEasy enough to make in a pinch, but not at all what I was looking for. These waffles don't have that sensational crisp outside and tender, flavorful inside. Love using real buttermilk, half the corn meal, and definitely less salt. In taste it made no difference whether I seperated eggs or not. Ones with beaten egg whites rise a lot more in the waffle iron. Careful! Still on the look-out for the perfect buttermilk waffle :-)
