What's for dinner?
For now we are living in Houston, it's not my choice, but we are at the whimsy of corporate decision makers.  I am looking forward to the time when we both retire and move to some quiet out of the way little town with an airport.  My husband is a private pilot and we are anxiously awaiting the day when we have a hangar home on some small airport.  I enjoy selecting, shopping for, and preparing meals for the two of us.  I even graduated to creating my own dishes without a recipe.  I am looking forward to sharing some of my recipes and picking up new ones.

Recipes I've Posted (all 11)

Pasta is my favorite. I remember Thanksgiving the most.  We grew up in an 1100 sq. ft. house my dad and uncles built.  The kitchen was small, but I really enjoyed those family holidays.

Bread Stuffing

Bread Stuffing

There is no mention of butter in the ingredients. I added 2 tablespoons to the broth. There was not enought bread for the amount of vegetables. I added 2 more cups of bread cubes. I didn't use water at all, but a combination of Turkey stock and chicken broth. I also added a couple basters full of turkey drippings.
