What's for dinner?

I love to eat and I love to fellowship with family and friends around the table especially if there is some laughter to go with the meal!  Thus it is always good to find dishes that are quick, easy and affordable.

I need menus that are not too busy, but varied for a fun time of hanging with friends and "Building Memories" in the kitchen.  My mother was great about "Building Memories" cooking and eating around the table.  Wow!

I hope I love this web page and that you do too.

Have a greatday!

Recipes I've Posted (all 1)

I love Salmon grilled, vegetables nicely seasoned -- and nice cooked steaks, although I don't really eat a lot of beef when it is done right... I love it.

I have been learning to cook more of a vegetarian diet because it goes with my blood type better and I do like rice, pasta, and most veggies.

Tortellini Primavera with Ham

Tortellini Primavera with Ham

Trying to make a favorite dish at home can be challenging but can also be a lot of fun if you use your imagination. I first had a sauce called "Vodka Sauce" at a restaurant in Chicago by the name of "Volare", EXCELLENT restaurant by the way. I have since looked up vodka sauce, white sauce, mixed my own canned sauce w/ a homemade white sauce, etc. Today however i noticed some cream cheese in my fridge and knowing that cheese is so good w/ italian dishes I said, why not? Well, try this dish yourself, it is EXCELLENT... I am so pleased :) [I posted this recipe.]

Baked Stuffed Bell Peppers

Baked Stuffed Bell Peppers

I loved the dish in that it called for Turkey instead of Beff. I had a thought while getting some rice out of the freezer and topped off the pepper with a hand full of stir fry veg't, I added a spot of water to the pepper and covered with Cheeze when it came out of the oven in 35min. My family loved it, but I would have to say that I loved the taste of the stuffing without the Bell Pepper and would rather next time serve it on Pita Bread or in a flour wrap.

Chicken-Stuffed Bell Peppers Spanish Style

Chicken-Stuffed Bell Peppers Spanish Style

I loved the Spanish Style of this dish and modified the seasonings with what fit from my cabinets. I even topped off the pepper with a hand full of stir fry veg't, added a spot of water to the pepper and covered with Cheeze when it came out of the oven in 35min. My family loved it, but I would have to say that I loved the taste of the stuffing without the Bell Pepper and would rather next time serve it on Pita Bread or in a flour wrap.
