Honey Walleye

Honey Walleye

Quick, very easy, and delicious! We loved the honey flavor and next time I will do a light drizzle of honey mixed with a touch of lemon juice.

Super easy to make! Mixing in a little olive oil with the final butter help keep them moist and good.

Rick's Steak Marinade

Rick's Steak Marinade

Low sodium soy is a good sub. Juices are red even when cooked well. Great marinade!

Spicy Baked Salmon

Spicy Baked Salmon

Awesome salmon! I used 1 clove of elephant garlic, 1/4 tsp ground Ginger, and tarragon rather than thyme. I also used 1 Tbs lemon juice in the spice mix and 1/4 cup in the bottom if the baking pan. I cooked it at 400 for 20 minutes. Not spicy at all- maybe from the lemon?

Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

Not good for pork in my opinion- maybe fish? It was simple to make but it smelled a bit like dog kibble. Serving with applesauce did help quite a bit - maybe add a nice citrus twist to the glaze?

Lamb Marinade

Lamb Marinade

Very nice and easy marinade. I cut the oil and use 2 cups with dry spices and less lemon. Poking the lamb with a fork distributes the flavor well too.

Southern Red Velvet Cake

Southern Red Velvet Cake

Good texture, pretty bad flavor. Perhaps 1 tbs cocoa or even 1/4 cup??? Tastes like the buttermilk and vinegar....

Grilled Tuna Steaks

Grilled Tuna Steaks

Simple and tasty. I only used this fir the marinade portion. Follow time suggestions on the marinade and don't let it sit too long.

Tuna Steak Au Poivre

Tuna Steak Au Poivre

Very good. I marinated the tuna first and did not salt it before cooking. Will be making this again-strong pepper taste and Ginger is strong in the dipping sauce.

Braised Lamb Shoulder Chops with Tomatoes, Rosemary, and Olives

I marinated the chops first and this is an awesome dish- best lamb ever!

Crispy Frog Legs

Crispy Frog Legs

Batter was pretty bland and didn't stick to the legs. Maybe flour needs to be in the egg yolk part of the batter? Batter also cooked faster than the legs at the specified temp- I had to put them in the oven for another 15 minutes.
