Great taste! I had to improvise cuz I didn't have all the spices. I added ham, parsley flakes, Cajun seasoning, and a pinch of chili pepper. I used 2 tsp of sea salt, but I think 1 tsp is plenty , it seemed a bit salty

Best Ham and Bean Soup

Sooo yummy! I choose a smoked ham. Left out peas. Added a bit more pepper, dash of sea salt, 1/2 tsp cumin, and a Tablespoon of Tapioca starch to thicken it up a bit. Needs cooked for at least an hour to get beans softer, I had soaked mine all day too. Very good smoky taste during cold season! :) Also added 1 cup more chicken broth to finish off my box and 1 cup extra water.
