Shepherd's Pie (gordon Ramsey's)
I am married for 21 yrs. and a mother of 5 from 21 yrs old down to 8. We often have children's friends and family over for sometimes extended stays. I am also a violinist playing classical to folk music. I love reading, movies, traveling, gardening, and writing.
Recipes I've Posted (all 2)
In our family we have a variety of palates to serve. Some are vegetarian, and some not. We belong to the Eastern Orthodox Church so our diet consists of partly fasting from meats, dairy, alcohol, and olive oil/oils, and partly not fasting depending on the season or day. So, that being said, I am game for cooking anything out there and learning new recipes. I love French cooking(Julia Childs), Thai, Chinese, Mediterranean (Greek, Phoenician), and various and sundry dishes.

Irish Shepherd's PieWe all enjoyed this dish! Since I was out of cream and sour cream, I used cream cheese and half & half. I will definitely be making this meal again. Thank you for the recipe!

Colettes White CakeIn another white cake recipe, the egg whites were whipped into a meringue making the body lighter. I will try this recipe again to see if it turns out differently.

Red Velvet Cake and Cream Cheese FrostingI made this cake and was wondering if the oil amount was too much. I also think butter might suit me better. Until I experiment with the ratio of fats, I can't recommend this recipe.

Chicken Enchiladas with a twistMy family enjoyed this dish. I had to improvise because I did not have enough cheddar/Colby-Jack. I used Velveeta to make up the difference in the filling. (Not my first choice!) it was still good.

Black Bean SoupI made this soup and followed all of the instructions except the yogurt and chicken broth. Instead, I used Osem chicken-style soup mix (kosher/vegan) with water, and Tofutti with lemon juice to be totally vegan. We heated corn tortillas to go with it. It was delicious! All of my family enjoyed the soup!
