Wow, this was fantastic! I used someone's suggestion of apple cider vinegar mixed with brown sugar to start the cooking off with. Once the meat was shredded, I emptied all the juice into a bowl. Put the shredded pork back into the cooker, mixed in sweet baby rays BBQ sauce and periodically added some of the juice as needed. Of all the recipes I've made on this site, this one got devoured the quickest!
Loved this dish! I split the recipe in half because there's only 3 of us. Only changes I made were sweet Italian sausage instead of hamburger meat & added a few spices to the top it was great! Thank you!
