Enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, but my kids are really picky eaters so I have to be careful or I'll have to eat the entire meal myself. Retired Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer. I enjoy using the slow cooker. I tend not to try a recipe if I know my kids won't like it, but I'll try anything if I can just make it for me and wife. My dad taught me about spices and cooking growing up since I was very young.
Lasagna, meatloaf, casseroles, slow-cooker meals.

Tangy Pulled Pork SandwichesGreat easy recipe for a slow cooker. I added a little liquid smoke and some hot sauce based on the other remarks. I doubled the amount for a family of 6 and it was the perfect amount. Very tasty.

KFC ColeSlawEasy and fast recipe to whip out some awesome coleslaw. I omitted using the butter milk due to the cost and the rest of the butter milk would have gone to waste. Didn't effect the recipe.

Blueberry Cream MuffinsTaste was awesome. I added a little more blueberrys then the recipe calls for because I love them. I did learn that out of a family of 6, I was the only one who liked blueberry muffins, so I ended up eating them all week for breakfast. I think I made out on that deal.

Cajun Pork RoastI did this recipe in a slow cooker and the meat was extremely tender. The dish was very spicy so the kids did not eat a lot of it. Left-overs were used on french bread for sandwiches.
