Honey Mustard Pork ChopsJust so so. I pan seared my chops before cooking them; that may have dried them out too much. The sauce wasn't very flavorful. I used store bought honey mustard & added some dijon mustard to that. Next time I'll just follow the recipe, maybe that would've ended up tasting better.

Spaghetti and MeatballsUsed marinara instead of traditional spaghetti sauce like Ragu. Added fresh garlic to the meat/bread mixture... only made it better! The meatballs were quite a pain to make. Next time I'll follow the same steps, but instead of browning them on the stove I'll bake them in the oven & then transfer them to the sauce later. Made breadsticks from canned cresent roll dough to serve with it. The meal was a hit for my guys!

Chicken TeriyakiThis was really, really easy! Added red onion & chunked the chicken rather than shredding it! Yummy! For a thicker sauce add some cornstarch.

Chicken Flautas From Serrano's CafeI followed the recipe exactly, and although the end outcome tasted ok, my family thought they were incredibly dry. Next time I'll add some sour creme and maybe some salsa to the mixture before I roll them in the tortillas. I definately recommend heating the tortillas before trying to roll them. I have a flat glass top stove, so I heated 3 burners on low and just placed the tortillas right on the glass. I flipped them every several seconds until they started to bubble. Then I cooled them on the counter while filling the ones I'd already heated.

Best BroccoliLoved it! Loved it! Loved it! Easy to make; literally under 5 minutes. Used soy sauce and extra garlic! Delicious! Also, I used Bird's Eye baby brocolli florets so no cutting or separating was needed! Perfect! Even the kids loved it!

Boston Market Cinnamon ApplesTotal disaster! Possibly because I doubled the recipe? It came out really gross! The flour & cornstarch condensed together and created a thick, gooey paste. The apples themselves were good, but the sauce which I thought would be sweet & buttery was yucky. My fault I'm sure; guess I should't have doubled the corn starch & flour measurements?

Ultimate Scalloped PotatoesExcellent! Used swiss because the guyere was $14. for a block. Never having eaten or used it before I wasn't about to spend $14. on something I might hate. So went with a block of swiss that I had my son shred. Used fresh shredded parm as well. A complete hit with the whole family. Oh, only other thing I did different was I cooked it in my dutch oven rather than a baking pan. Worked out great!

Grilled Butter-Marinated Steak Sirloin SteaksIt was good, not great. Felt like it didn't have enough flavor. If I made it again, I'd mix it up a bit more.

Chicken Soft Tacos (6)I decided not to use rice, so no water was needed. I sprayed my pan with olive oil cooking spray and sauteed the chicken. Note: I had previously cut 4 chicken breasts into really thin slices, so that made the cooking time much faster. When the chicken was fully cooked, I added a package of Taco Bell salsa; the kind that comes in the taco-making kit. Had lettuce, tomato, cheese, & sour cream already on the table. Heated up flour tortillas & served! My family flipped! What a hit; they devoured every bit of it! Def will make it again!

Easy Peach CobblerJust ok. I baked it a 325 rather than 350 and perhaps that was my mistake. After an an hour and fifteen minutes of baking, it was still runny. Let it stand for 20 minutes, cut it and still more runny underneath than solid. Kids loved it anyway, so it's a win-win!
