I am retired from the State of California..and working at a travel center as the graveyard Line Cook..something I have always wanted to do...but boy did I find out it is hard work...lots of lifting and toting. The crew I work with are great..and my manager is really good...she is fair..and knowledgeable, what more could I ask for?
I love graveyard shift because I get to cook more in my own style..and not as much cooporates. I still have to stick by their rules and regulations...but I get to add a bit o' flair.
This is a career I shall retire from again, and who knows what is in store for me next....this is okay with me...I waited a long time for this to come..and I am enjoying it to the fullest.
