Beef StewI just made this recipe yesterday and it was a hit. The only thing I did different was coat the beef in flour and browned it first. My stew was done in nearly 5 hours on low. Vegetables and meat came out very tender. The next time I make this I will probably thicken the sauce a bit but adding a little cornstarch towards the end of the cooking time and probably add some mushrooms and peas to it too for more heartiness. All in all I enjoyed this stew very much.
