Chocolate Chip Pie

Chocolate Chip Pie

Very tasty, just the sweet treat I was craving. I baked at 350F for 1 hr, needed another 5 mins possibly. Gooey with a thin, crackly, perfect top crust.

Shrimp Tacos

Shrimp Tacos

Used sautéed red and orange bell peppers rather than chipotle peppers, added 2 tablespoons of tequila in the marinade (highly suggest reducing the sauce down during the cooking though), and substituted Greek yogurt in the dressing, but loved this. Will definitely make again.

Baked Potatoes Stuffed with Spinach, Parmesan and Mushrooms

Baked Potatoes Stuffed with Spinach, Parmesan and Mushrooms

I used broccoli instead of spinach and thought it was just fine. Very easy and economical dish.

Beer Cake With Caramel Frosting

Beer Cake With Caramel Frosting

I tried a similar recipe yesterday, used a drizzle frosting of confectioner's sugar and water, and it was a huge hit. It's delicious, moist with a slight crunch on the outside if you make it with a Bundt pan; one of my coworkers said it "tastes like Christmas" thanks to the cloves. Highly recommend.

"The Pantry" Pancakes

WAAAAYYYYY too much vanilla, tasted like a bad sugar cookie. I even added only 2/3 of the amount called for. Won't be making this again.

Cold Asian Noodle Salad

Cold Asian Noodle Salad

The soba noodles are expensive, though they do have an interesting flavor and texture. I think the dressing could have less olive oil, more spice, to make the resulting dish more flavorful. Tasty enough for. Lunch, but I probably won't NMR this dish again.

Pan-seared Salmon with Fresh Tomato-basil Relish (ww 8 Pts)

Really enjoyed this dish, very light, healthy, and easy to prepare. Served with steamed sugar snap peas and rice

Crispy Baked Egg Rolls

Crispy Baked Egg Rolls

Not really all that great, though it could be because I used spring roll wrappers that I'm not sure were bake-able. The filling was edible at least.

Chinese- Sesame Chicken

Chinese- Sesame Chicken

The Chinese Five spice might have been most of the reason, but I did not particularly enjoy this dish. There wasn't enough marinade left over to put over the chicken during cooking, and the amount of flour given wasn't enough to coat all the chicken either. Not my favorite dish.
