White Chicken Chili

White Chicken Chili

Pretty tasty and very easy! I would say it would be too spicy for most people to enjoy though. And I even took out half the cayenne pepper. I did have to thicken the chili but the flavor was good.

Mango Lassi Smoothie Authentic

Mango Lassi Smoothie Authentic

Not like the mango lassi I know. Way too much cardimon flavor and not enough sugar! I will do 2 tbs sugar next time and only a pinch of cardimon.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken Tikka Masala

Amazing!!! My wife and kids and I are in heaven right now! Now we can make one of our favorite dishes without going out and spending $30-40 at our favorite Indian restaurants. Pretty simple to make. I only marinated the chicken for about an hour and a half so I chose to broil it and it turned out wonderful. Very tender and flavorful. I also only used half of a jalapeƱo so my three-year old could enjoy the dish too. We found it still had a kick, but was balanced out great by the creamy sweetness of the rest of the masala sauce. All we were missing was some naan! And of course some mango lassi!!

Dip n Dunk Guacamole

Dip n Dunk Guacamole

Added 5 sprigs of cilantro (chopped) and only used 3/4 of a yellow onion (chopped). Loved it! Next time I'm only going to put half an onion though.

Herb-Crusted Salmon

Herb-Crusted Salmon

I made this for my wife and myself tonight. The salmon ended up being pretty bland. The sauce was pretty tasty, but wasn't as tasty as I was expecting. The recipe is a little unclear though so someone else might be able to make it better than I did. I wasn't sure how much tomato to put in exactly. The recipe just says four??? What size? The recipe says to cover the salmon in the herbs really well, but if I made this again I'd only lightly sprinkle the herbs over the entire salmon. It's the sauce that really makes this recipe. It's pretty tasty, but maybe needs a little sugar. It could just be that the recipe is difficult to follow. Also, the salmon took twice as long to cook as the recipe said.
