Bonjour! For those who didn't give it a 5 star or said the texture was off or it didn't have enough taste you definitly did something wrong. Although I added real vanilla beans and a little bit of pure almond extract this base receipe tastes just like the real thing! You can even add chocolate, cocnut or any other yummy flavor to make it more often without repeating yourself. I am from France and this is my signature dish. My students in the US loved it and so did all my friends. Oh and btw brulée means burnt in french so when you start burning that sugar on top with your torch let it become black, burned sugar and vanilla taste delicious! Bon appétit!
