This was so simple & delicious! The only issue I had was that the directions don't explain what to do with the reserved bacon grease. Didn't get as thick as I wanted so I added a bit of corn starch & it was PERFECT!!!
This was so unbelievably easy to make and so delicious! I normally dislike a lot of veggies so I went very far out on a limb to try this and now love it. I love capers so next time I'll increase them because I didn't quite get the flavor as it is now. Fantastic!!!
Made this with eggs on a Sunday morning and they were fantastic. I may have added a bit too much chile flake and they were SUPER spicy but nothing some ketchup didn't take care of. I'm making them again this up coming Sunday for family breakfast and leaving the chile flake out. Look forward to these!!!
I loved the flavors in this. Instead of doing steak I used it to make pork tenderloin sandwiches. I am terrible at breading and frying things as well but this ended up being so easy and the breading didn't fall off or burn. I had some difficulty with the cream gravy and it turned out dark but the flavors saved it completely.
Tried this last night and my husband and I couldn't get enough. Not only was it unbelievably delicious it was also so simple, easy and fun to make (and it was pretty to look at with all the colors too!). My husband doesn't like Mexican food but he had seconds and saved what little left overs we had to take for lunch. Thank you so much for this recipe!!!
