What's for dinner?
I'm disabled, and so I'm tired and retired. I'm interested in reading, photography, I have some other blogs, and I like cooking. Right now I'm into using my new food processor, and baking bread. I don't like that mushy white stuff they call bread, but the kinds I like are so expensive. My avatar is a picture of my service dog, Friday. I live in Seattle, ride around on a disabled scooter, am trying to read every murder mystery in the Seattle Public Library, but they keep getting new ones.
Recipes I've Posted (all 1)
I love pizza, lasagna, spaghetti, tacos, all kinds of Mexican foods, seafood (when I can afford it). I grew up in a town with a lot of Italians and Mexicans, and that's what I learned to eat. There were also a lot of Slovenians, including in my family, and we loved kielbasa and potica. My Dad's family was Irish, and so we had Irish stew. Mom never learned to make soda bread, but I did.

Masala (chai) TeaShown with raspberry-oatmeal bars. I also like my chai with biscotti. This recipe sounds more like the spicier chai I like. Pasted it from here with some editing. http://www.thespicehouse.com/recipes/chai-masala-tea-recipe [I posted this recipe.]

Indian Milk Tea (Chai) #01Pretty bland, not spicy enough. Needs some ginger or black pepper to give it heat.
