What's for dinner?
I love making sweets, since I grew up with a cake decorator and experimental cook for a mom. One valuable lesson I learned from her is that if you're gonna be eating sugar, it might as well be delicious, so we don't eat artificial sweeteners or fake butter in this household, all our sweets are pure scrumptious-ness

Jalapeño Cheddar MuffinsDefinitely delicious, try it with candied jalapeños instead of regular, verrry good ^ ^

Glazed Lemon BreadYummy! ^ ^ and about the glaze, I added less sugar, added a little honey, and lemon extract plus juice, came out as a kind of hard chewy candy top but to me it contrasts nicely with the moist lemony bread, and thanks for the reviews y'all, I went with a tsp of baking powder instead and it was perfect

Pastel Tres Leches AldacoAte it with my family a moment ago, very very good! Earns another 5 stars in my book! ^ ^ what I wanna try though next time is since the cake is about half an inch tall, I figure I could just soak that, bake another, and put that on top, instead of trying the cut the first cake. This tres leches is definitely a little different from the ones you get in the Mexican rresturants here in Texas, but don't let that dissuade you from trying it

Easy Lemon CookiesDelicious, perfect! Just made them and ate one, this recipe is so easy and incredible! I didn't have a lemon cake mix though so I substituted it with a white cake mix and just added some lemon juice and extra lemon extract. I'll definitely use this recipe again in the near future!

Watermelon SlushCan't wait to try it! I love watermelon and lemon together, and it never occurred to me to make a slush version, great idea and great for summer!

Easy Banana BreadVery good recipe, only thing I did different is I just mashed 4 bananas, cut out the baking soda and used a little more baking power, and reduced the sugar to a little over 2cups, it was perfect!
