Greek Yogurt Onion Dip

Greek Yogurt Onion Dip

Just made this tonight using homemade Greek yogurt. Never caramelized onions before so I didn't realize how long it took. Watched some good YouTube videos on the process while waiting. First taste is very good but I think it will be even better after sitting over night so the flavors meld. Can't wait.

Italian Sausage Skillet Slop

Italian Sausage Skillet Slop

I doubled everything except the pasta. I added sliced olives. Next time I will use half as much olive oil and maybe add red pepper flakes. Definitely a keeper. Nice change from marinara soaked pasta.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Chicken Noodle Soup

This was so good I'm making it again today but doubling the recipe. It freezes well too. I let a frozen container thaw on my desk and heat to save heating time at work. Besides, if I leave something this good in the community fridge it might go missing.

Baked Ziti

Baked Ziti

I used 1 lb beef and 1 lb sausage. Added red pepper flakes and some diced green pepper. Turned out great. Makes a huge amount. I used my largest casserole and still had extra pasta and cheese mixture so I made a small meatless casserole too. My son said I should make this at least once a month.

Easy Breakfast Potatoes

Easy Breakfast Potatoes

Quick & easy. Couldn't find my paprika (must be out) so I substituted Cajun seasoning. Added onion flakes and used both dill & parsley. Excellent. This is a keeper

Baked Chicken Breasts with Honey Mustard Sauce

Baked Chicken Breasts with Honey Mustard Sauce

Do not follow the instructions an less you want soup to go along with your chicken. The flavors of the honey mustard yogurt chicken are spot on but the amount of broth is way, way too much. Not what I expected at all. I will try again after reducing the broth considerably

Baked Chicken Breasts - Crockpot (To Die For!!)

Baked Chicken Breasts - Crockpot (To Die For!!)

Nice, easy and tasty. I thickened the gravy with some corn starch. Next time I want to add a little sour cream to the gravy. Had it over rice but noodles would be good too. I will make this again

Could be a bit spicier maybe some jalapeƱo. Also needs a little more fluid but very good overall.

bacon wrapped smokies

bacon wrapped smokies

Made for New Years Eve party. Keeping the waiting bacon chilled makes the wrapping easier. Also, I put the wrapped smokies into a container with the brown sugar and shook it to coat well. Flip halfway through baking for best results. Honey mustard dipping sauce would go nicely with this

A little on the bland side. I thickened the gravy with cornstarch added in the last hour of cooking, heat set on high.

Olive Garden Salad and Dressing

Just like the real thing without the hefty bill and mediocre customer service. Andes candy anyone?
