Easy, Creamy Butternut Squash Soup...Amuse Bousche

Excellent. I used a little more carrot and tossed in a bay leaf and it turned out very well.

Garlic - Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Garlic - Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

I loved this! The seasoning and flavorings are interchangeable and adjustable, but the crust is fantastic and the parmesan was a really nice addition. Cooking the garlic in oil to infuse the flavor is a really cool idea too. I will definitely do this again and I think next time I will make a tasty sandwich with this recipe as a general guideline.

Slow Cooker Carnitas (Pulled Pork)

Slow Cooker Carnitas (Pulled Pork)

This is a really good recipe. I love crisping the pork in the oven at the end. I added some chipotle powder and a little more oregano and cinnamon before putting it in the oven, and just sliced, squeezed and dropped a whole orange in the slow cooker instead of just the zest. We made some really good tacos with this and some homemade salsa and plenty of cheese.

German Apple Pancake

German Apple Pancake

It's really good, but for some reason mine fell apart. I also used different apples and they got mushy. But my failure is probably from not following the directions 100%... I want to try this again and get it perfect, but it did taste very good even with mistakes.

Thai Chicken with Coconut Curry Sauce

Thai Chicken with Coconut Curry Sauce

Really good, pretty simple and it's got a good mild flavor. The only downside is it doesn't pack any punch, I was hoping it would be kind of spicy but it wasn't, maybe some thai chiles or just extra red pepper flake for anyone that likes a kick. Oh and we used cashews because we didn't have peanuts, it was a great substitution.

Perfect Blueberry Pancakes

Perfect Blueberry Pancakes

Loved these pancakes. They cooked up perfectly in my cast iron skillet, nice and fluffy with a little caramelization on the outside. I found that a little blueberry syrup and a little maple syrup mixed together is perfect for these. The only thing is it takes forever to whip the egg whites, use a mixer to save your arms.
