I live in the beautiful Northwest where food is plentiful and many ethnic influences create wonderful fusions. Our seafood is outstanding in varity and versitility. I work in the medical field and healthy eating is important to me. I love to travel and expierience other cultures and that means food-it's wonderful. Sushi, scordalia, pork and sourkraut, prawns with a feta cheese and crumb topping, and just about anything with garlic in it, and Muscovy duck breast.

Some other possible additions: grated onion, worchestershire sauce, cayanne, green onions, etc. Be careful not to overpower the delicate shrimp flavor. [I posted this recipe.] — aisha 9/9/2010
CHAPMAN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

CHAPMAN BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

This has been a staple brunch casserole in our family for years, don't know the original source. Adding a 1/4 c. sherry to a second can of mushroom soup and thinning with some milk and heating to make a nice sauce is a nice addition. — NashvilleJoe 6/23/2009

Dijon-tarragon Cream Chicken

Dijon-tarragon Cream Chicken

The original recipe did not coat the chicken with mustard or flour or use wine to deglaze the pan. I also doubled the amount of sauce. These steps were suggested in several of the reviews and I concur. [I posted this recipe.] — aisha 9/28/2008

Seared Diver Scallops with Garlic, Bacon Wilted Arugula and Lima Bean Puree

Don't be daunted by the size of this recipe, it's basicly three small recipes in one. What a great way to use lima beans! They tasted great. The presentation was stunning-"Just like a reasaurant" and "It's too pretty to eat". My husband complimented me again the next morning, WOW! This is definely a keeper. Thanks Emeril. Rathskeller Pork

Great crockpot recipe. Has everything-meat, vegetables, potatoes. I have shredded the cabbage, would chop the shreds more finely so there aren't long strings. Serve with a green salad. 1/31/2007
