Skillet Penne and Sausage Supper

Skillet Penne and Sausage Supper

Great dish! I didn't have a bag of Spinach or Sun Dried Tomatoes. So I used Fire Roasted Tomatoes (drained) and it turned out great. My family was asking if we could put bacon in it next time....I think that I might try it next time, but I liked it without as well. I also melted Mozzarella on top. Great dish to add or remove ingredients to suite your families taste. Thanks! — EnergyGeek 2/28/2013

Tex-Mex Chicken Pasta Salad

Tex-Mex Chicken Pasta Salad

Took it to a BBQ and everyone loved it! I didn't add the spicy seasoning and only added 1/4 cup of Hot Sauce instead of the 3/4 cup it called for, and it was still VERY spicy! My hubby loved it but me and the kids were diving for the water. Great combo of flavors. I think next time I'll add some grated cheddar. Thanks for posting! — tripletmama 7/5/2012

Hamburger and Green Bean Casserole

Hamburger and Green Bean Casserole

Not bad with some adjustments. I cubed the potatoes and stirred them in with everything else. I also added some Worcestershire, black pepper and Franks Red Hot Sauce. That really gave it some flavor. Not too much Red sauce because I don't like it too hot. 12/30/2011
Tex-mex Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

Tex-mex Chicken Spaghetti Casserole

Great recipe! I do things a bit different though. I cook the chicken on the BBQ and cook the noodles inside while the chicken is cooking outside. After draining the noodles, I combine everything else in the pot that the noodles cooked in. Then I add the cooked chicken and noodles, heat through and then serve. I don't see the need to dirty another dish and wait another hour for everything to cook through again. Quicker and easier for me. Great ingredients and flavor! Thanks again! — Beachbumette 12/29/2011
Crockpot Pizza Casserole

Crockpot Pizza Casserole

I love this recipe because you can tailor it to your families tastes. For instance, I used Italian Sausage instead of hamburger and macaroni instead of Rigatoni. I also added bacon bits to the meat mixture and used Mozzarella and Cheddar instead of Parmesan. Definitely a keeper for my house! — Beachbumette 4/11/2011
Enchilada Casserole

Enchilada Casserole

Really good! My family loved it. I loved how easy it was to make. Next time I'd add some cumin and chili powder as well as some Jalapeno juice. It just needed some kick. Even with the chili's it wasn't zippy enough for us. We ended up adding some hot pepper sauce after it was done. Definitely making this again! — RKBCooks 3/18/2011

Chef John Folse's Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf

I liked that this recipe was different. My kids loved it! I personally could have used more flavor. I think next time I make it I'll add some Worcestershire, beef bouillon, Dijon mustard and maybe more Italian seasoning. I think I'd even try some Horseradish! It just lacked a zip to it. But I'm definitely making this again! The bacon bits and cheese were a HUGE hit! — jwranch 3/17/2011
George's Breakfast Sausage Casserole

George's Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Not bad but it had WAY too many onions. Having that many onions also added a lot of moisture to the casserole. I did add bacon bits and a few shots of hot sauce. It was a nice addition. 3/3/2011

Broiled Parmesan Potatoes (Oregon)

Broiled Parmesan Potatoes (Oregon)

WOW! Great recipe! My family loved it. Only thing I would do differently is to dip the potatoes in the mixture before putting them on the baking sheet. It would probably go faster than wiping it on them while they were on the sheet. Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Even my picky teenager wanted more! 1/24/2011
Turkey Pot Pie From Leftover Crock Pot Roast Turkey

Turkey Pot Pie From Leftover Crock Pot Roast Turkey

Great recipe! I made individual pot pies so that I could add or subtract some ingredients so that my family would like them better. I lined the bottom with leftover pie crusts and baked them for a few minutes before adding the filling and covering with more crust. Don't forget to poke holes so the steam will escape! — ladybugplus 1/24/2011

Love this recipe! I don't use walnuts though. I add chocolate chips instead. Very yummy! And I double the recipe for two loaves. — sgrishka 10/4/2010
