I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah and I've lived here all of my life.  I work two jobs and don't have a lot of free time.

My husband and I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with our kitty and puppy.

I live in SLC, UT with all of the "Mormons".  I enjoy being a member of the Latter-Day Saints of Jesus Christ.  "Mormons", or LDS members, aren't polygamists.  We believe that the gospel has been restored in these Latter-Days.  We do wonderful things for our community and also help countries in need of food and clothing.

Recently, I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.  This has caused me to take a closer look at my eating habits.  I love flavorful food so it's been hard to discover food that is both yummy and healthy.

I enjoy easy meals to prepare for my family.  I love to eat yummy food and that's why I'm always looking for great recipes.

Everytime I'm cooking for a special occasion it never turns out.  This past Christmas I made some Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread that I had made several times before and it was disgusting.  That same day I tried to make Zuccini Bread and homemade granola and neither of those turned out either.

This wasn't a hit at my home either. — sgrishka 1/14/2011
South Beach Diet Chicken Pasta Salad

South Beach Diet Chicken Pasta Salad

I made this a couple days ago and it didn't turn out at all. I used bow-tie pasta instead of spiral shaped pasta. I probably should have used less mayo than it called for. Those things could have contributed to the yuckiness. — Award-Winning-Recipes 1/13/2011
