Chicken with Sage And Bacon

Chicken with Sage And Bacon

Absolutely delicious! We only used 6 slices of bacon, just a few leaves of fresh sage, and substituted a combo of sour cream and half and half because we couldn't find creme fraiche and it was one of the best dishes we've ever made! Try this recipe-you won't be disappointed!!! 3/2/2014

California Zucchini Bake

California Zucchini Bake

Delicious and easy! This would be great for potluck or to make ahead too. I used a 3-qt casserole dish, a can of Rotel instead of green chiles, and next time I think o would add a chopped sweet bell pepper. 4/6/2011

Not quite as sweet as I would have liked, but nice and fluffy and a little crisp on the outside. 2/4/2011

Balsalmic Bacon Asparagus with Onions

Balsalmic Bacon Asparagus with Onions

Absolutely delicious!!! I think you could cut back on the bacon-maybe 1/2, but bacon makes everything better, so why not go for it? We had this with simple pan-seared filets and it was one of the best meals we've ever made. Thank you for sharing!! — Btengland 1/3/2011

Grilled Fish With Ginger, Lime And Cilantro Sauce

This is our new favorite fish recipe. Even if you just bake the fish and leave off the ginger slices...the sauce is to die for! 11/8/2010
Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Easy and yummy! I used a can of diced tomatoes, added another 1/4 cup of soy sauce at the end and served over rice. DH called it a home run! We'll definitely make this again. — kiplin 11/1/2010

Wow!!! So easy, so pretty and sooo delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe. I'm so excited to have found it right before the holidays...I can't wait to make it for company. We added fresh basil and fresh oregano to the olive oil mixture. It was fantastic! — ellie36 10/26/2010

Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken

Angel Hair Pasta with Chicken

Light and delicious! I added some sun-dried tomatoes, substituted white wine for half of the chicken broth and left out the carrots cause hubby doesn't like them. I also used canned cooked chicken because that was all I had. Easy, tasty and healthy! We'll have this again. — Sunshinepix 10/20/2010
Blackend Baked Tilapia

Blackend Baked Tilapia

Delicious! 1 tsp of red pepper was plenty for us, though. I baked it for 15 minutes at 350-perfect! — orionslittleone 10/13/2010
Pork Chops In Sour Cream Sauce

Pork Chops In Sour Cream Sauce

Melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious! I added some thinly sliced garlic with the onions and used veg broth instead of water. One complaint: the sauce was too thin. Tried adding some Parmesan, then some cream...no luck. Maybe drain some of the liquid before adding the sour cream? I wanted to try cream cheese, but DH was afraid it would change the flavor, which was perfect. We'll definitely have this again! — FLArmyWife 10/5/2010
Italian-Seasoned Breaded Vegetables

Italian-Seasoned Breaded Vegetables

Yep, browning the panko first was the key-ungreased cookie sheet for 5 min or til golden. We added red pepper strips this time...wow! Soooo good! 10/5/2010
Chicken In Creamy Pan Sauce

Chicken In Creamy Pan Sauce

Very rich! We would have liked more sauce, and the breasts took much longer than 4 minutes per side to cook through...but they were super-tender and my husband loved the flavor. — happyden 10/4/2010
Leek and Potato Hash

Leek and Potato Hash

I used peppered bacon (6 pieces instead of 3) which gave it some spice and heat. My husband loved it! — Lyskitsune 9/28/2010
