Aunt Dorothy’s Strawberry Cake

Aunt Dorothy’s Strawberry Cake

Very simple and full of strawberry flavor. Have had many requests for this recipe over the years. Makes great cupcakes too! Leftover frosting is great on graham crackers.

Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin Seeds

I adore this recipe! Wanted something new to do with pumpkin seeds and this sweeter alternative hits the spot! I omitted the black pepper and went easy on the salt, and it was like a healthier version of carmel corn. My kids love them. I will try again with the black pepper, this was the kid friendly version, but I think the pepper will add a great note as well. This is a keeper.

Glazed Pork Chops

Glazed Pork Chops

Always a hit in our household, even with small children and a very picky husband. Uses staples found in most kitchens as well.

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Really liked being able to use full sized chips as the batter was thick enough to support them. Will make again!

Easy Chicken of the Islands

Easy Chicken of the Islands

Made this today. Liked the fact that it used things I always have on hand and it worked well in the crockpot. Meat was very tender and had flavor. But the flavor lacked a little complexity for my personal tastes.

Apple Strudel Muffins

Apple Strudel Muffins

These were a big hit in my family. I used whole wheat flour and did add about 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce to them, and they came out really well. My kids ask for them regularly.

Fuddruker's Hamburger Patties

Fuddruker's Hamburger Patties

Finally, a spice blend of things I commonly have and it is AWESOME! Love that at long last I have a burger recipe without fillers and binders etc. My husband loved this blend of spices (and he rarely gets too excited about food). This will absolutely be my go to burger recipe!! God Bless you for posting it.

Fresh and Chunky Guacamole

Fresh and Chunky Guacamole

Would cut this in half as it makes quite a bit and guacamole has a short lifespan, but was good.

Flat Iron Steak with Herb Butter

Flat Iron Steak with Herb Butter

This was a great recipe to utilize flat iron steak I had on hand and herbs out of my herb garden. I am not personally a huge parseley fan, so I would reduce the amount of fresh parseley, and maybe go a little easier on the shallot as well. My husband liked this quite a bit and I will make it again.
