i would have to say that my favorite meal would be steak au poivre. it's a beef tenderloin encrusted with peppercrns in a brandy cream sauce. you cant eat it everyday but it sure is good. i will post the recipe as soon as i can

Memere's Mashed Potatoesmy memere made the best mashed potaos i can remember. simple and delicious but yes alot of butter and quite a bit of black pepper too.
