I'm English, living in Canada, married to Robert.
We live in a log cabin in the bush of Northern Ontario.
We have 3 cats one dog and numerous chickens and ducks. We don't kill our chickens we allow them to die of old age, we keep them for their eggs, same with the ducks. Duck eggs are fantastic for baking, so rich.

I have been recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and in order to avoid the medication rollercoaster that so many fibro people end up on I am trying to help myself by nutrition.
I am researching the types of foods that can aggravate or improve the symptoms.
I already grow as many vegetables as I can given the short summers and harsh winters we experience here.

One point: If you notice spelling mistakes I apologise, that's one of the side effects of living with Fibro, acquired dyslexia, your brain remembers how to spell but your fingers have forgotten.

I only got into computers in 2003 and absolutely love them. I have been learning html coding by hand, web editors, graphics programmes all that kind of stuff.
I am one of the founders of Women Of Rare Distinction, a womans community (obviously..lol) we have various groups and activities for our members, a general chat group, learning psp, learning html, learning Dreamweaver, pixels, digital art using various programmes, a literary group, a penpal groups.. and many more.

I have such fun and satisfaction passing on what I have learned. Pop in and visit us sometime....

That's me in a nutshell.

Obviously my favourite foods are English, but I do love trying out other cuisines. and am pleased to have found this programme at such a reasonable price.
My favourite foods?

Fish chips and mustn't forget the mushy peas; I really do miss the English fish and chip shops.
I prefer home made meals to shop bought foods, they taste so much better.
Processed foods are full of so many additives, preservatives and whatever else they can get away with including.

That doens't mean I don't indulge, there's nothing better than eating something someone else has made especially when eating out. No washing up!
