I read a few reviews that said it was a little bland, so I added a half cup of red wine, a tablespoon of brown gravy mix, half a packet if beef stew seasoning (because I had it) and it was so good!!! Yummy! I did let the dry rub set in over night. I did cook it in the oven with the homemade sauce, but when I put it on the grill I used a spicy bottled BBQ sauce and I'm glad I did. The sweet and spicy were delicious. Otherwise it might have been too sweet. 1/17/2012

I didn't use margarine or potato flakes. These are a good alternative, but the consistency is a little weird. Also, they get cold really fast. I'll make again since I'm eating low carb, but if not real potatoes are best. — promfh 1/16/2012
