Happily married (  most of the time  ) for 30 years.

 

My husband is a trucker, when he's home he 's down home southern cookin'.

 

I became a fulltime homemaker due to spasmatic asthma  

 

My mom and dad (rest their souls) were down to earth country folk. Dad loved to hunt and fish, mom loved what ever dad loved.  They raised 3 children and their own chickens ( fried chicken every sunday after church). She raised a vegetable garden and did her own home canning.  My mom was excellent at preparing wild game. I remember her using the edge of a saucer to tenderize deer tenderloin.  They never worried about what they didn't have, they just thought of different ways to use what they did have.
