Definitely not as good as the authentic stuff I get from the Chinese carryout. Used cold rice cooked earlier which kept it from sticking but flavour was just OK. which was a shame since this recipe makes a ton. Added chicken for more flavor but didn't save the dish.
Definitely gourmet and mellowed with a beer wash. Very strong flavour and too greasy with a 1/2 c. butter. Would be better if used as side dish--small amount, although flavour decreases the longer it sits so could use as a leftover meal. Kids won't like it.
