What's for dinner?

I live in Zionsville Indiana, where I have resided for 24 years. I love to bake more so than cook. I enjoy entering county fairs and the freindly competion amoung a small group of friends.

I enjoy making quick breads, cookies, pies, cake etc. I love making them all and taking them to school for honest constructive critisim. I really don't have a favorite. I just like trying new recipes and bringing back the old.

	Spiced Apples I used gala apples and found this to be a very good and easy recipe. I did have to add about 1/4 cup of sugar. I served it over oatmeal cake and topped with ice cream. My guest loved it. Much like an apple crisp this way. The spiced apples are actually better the next day. on Monday, March 12, 2007
	Baked Oatmeal Great recipe and super easy. A good way to start your day or serve as a dessert. Heart healthy. Will definately make again. I did add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg. Wonderful! on Wednesday, March 07, 2007
	Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Excellent banana bread recipe. Would make again. Very moist and tender crumb texture. Better than my grandmothers. Followed the recipe exact with no substitutions. It's a keeper. on Monday, March 05, 2007
