	Mexican Rice from Serrano's Cafe I thought it was a little plain, so if I make it again, I will need to spice it up a bit more. Also, the tomato bouillon cube didn't fully dissolve. Tomato bouillon can usually be found in the hispanic section of your local grocery store. The one I use is a chicken/bouillon mix and I like it so much, I add it to my chicken noodle soup instead of the standard chicken bouillon! on Monday, February 20, 2012

	Pepper Roast Beef This roast was AH-MAZING! I had accidentally purchased a round roast instead of a chuck roast, so I had to search for a recipe. Recipes usually don't turn out for me the first time I make them (not a great cook here), but this one turned out so perfectly I made it 3 more times in as many weeks. The only problem I had with it was the pepper. Every time I ended up with pepper flying all over the kitchen. The wax paper didn't do much to contain it. 	Shredded Beef Tacos, Crockpot Style This was a really great dish! My daughter and her friends loved it! It came out perfect!! I think the beer is supposed to be "Negra Modela" (not Negro Modela). I spent a lot of time trying to find Negro Modela and don't see where it exists. There is a plain "modela" beer, but given that the negra is a dark, unique beer, I opted not to substitute!! Glad you tried it. I use the powder boullion from knorrs, it come in a jar. I do not like using the cubes for the very reason you stated. With the dry boullion, you must be careful because it is salty. too much will ruin the rice. Happy cooking.
