Chef Laurel, Laurel Hudson, is the Culinary Instructor of Wellspring Academy of California. Laurel earned an Associates of Science in Baking & Pastry Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. She worked at the Wellspring New York summer camp in 2009 to complete her degree for school. Her previous experience includes teaching at the elementary, middle, high school and college levels, as well as with people in the community.
Laurel is currently working on a low fat cookbook. She enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, cooking and baking, developing healthy recipes, going to local health food stores and farmers markets, and having fun at the gym.
