Rolo Cookies

Rolo Cookies

First time making these last night. I followed the recipe exactly and did encounter two problems. The dough was tough to mix by hand and by mixer. It seemed a little dry and had A LOT of those dry clumps in it which made rolling into a ball shape difficult because it wouldn't stick together. I had to kinda pick them out if I could. The recipe also didn't say how much dough to use per ball. I used roughly a tablespoon, maybe on the generous side. 2 boxes of cake mix, with 4 jumbo eggs, at a tablespoon per ball, made 42 cookies. One bag of Rolos is enough for this recipe but I'd recommend using 2 jumbo packs of Hershey's bars with pieces to each cookie. Once the chocolate melts and cookies cool completely, the chocolate hardens so you can stack them in an air tight container. A good trick is to put a piece of bread in the air tight container to prevent the cookies from going stale. The bread will go stale and hard while the cookies stay soft.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip

Artichoke & Spinach Dip

Make it in the crockpot, delicious every time! One on my main party foods, everyone always raves about it! Even when I don't take the time to thaw the spinach and squeeze it, the recipe still comes out fine.

3 Envelope Roast

3 Envelope Roast

I used the full 3 packets with 3 cups of water in a crockpot for 7 hrs on low. I added carrots halfway thru and thought they ended up with a lot of flavor. The roast was missing something. We had to add tons of salt and pepper bc it didn't have hardly any flavor like others had said. Definitely disappointed.

Ultimate Scalloped Potatoes

Ultimate Scalloped Potatoes

Ugh. Hated the Gruyere cheese. Perhaps I'm more sensitive to smells since I had my son 2 yrs ago but the cheese smelled like vomit and looked like baby spit. It did this weird curdling. Expensive and totally not worth it in my opinion.

Mini Cheesecake Bites

Mini Cheesecake Bites

I posted this recipe and would like to respond to those about the graham cracker crust. It is exact measurements. If you run out, you are using too much per mini cupcake liner. If you use more than intended, you run out of room for the filling and topping. I make this recipe every other week for parties and still use the recipe for measurement proportions. It really is to the T exact.

Mini Cheesecake Bites

Mini Cheesecake Bites

Marshafni- the cheesecake filling recipe IS posted with measurements. Pie filling for the topping comes in a can in the baking aisle. That would be why there aren't "ingredients measurements" for it.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes

White Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes

I followed the recipe exactly. While the cupcakes were good, the frosting wasn't. It was too runny, not pink like the picture, and definitely not light and fluffy looking like the picture. I'd say follow the recipe for the cupcakes not the frosting, I've made all sorts of changes to the frosting that taste way better and I'll be posting it soon!

Mini Cheesecake Bites

Mini Cheesecake Bites

This recipe is to be used in a 24 quantity mini muffin pan. The key is to make sure you leave just a little space between the filling and the top of the cup to allow for rising and topping. Less mess that way. [I posted this recipe.]
