Apple Walnut Cake
(That's me on on the right).
I am a senior programmer-analyst for a food company in the central valley CA. (for those who know whatI'm talk'n bout: SQL Server + ASP.NET with  C########).

I enjoy cooking (when I have the time!) My food tops are pineapple and jalapeno pizza
and chicken and dumplings.

My music tastes are extremely ecclectic, but enjoy vivaldi-esque music while I program.

Brown Sugar Cake

This is a similar recipe I found in a womans club book from the 1940s and 50s. This recipe appears to have a bit more than the 'basic' recipe holds. Mmm.

For spicier chili, add 1/2 teaspoon more black pepper. For much spicier chili, add 1 teaspoon black pepper and a tablespoon cayenne pepper. And for a real stomach stinger, add 5 or 6 sliced jalapeno peppers to the pot. Leftovers can be frozen for several months [I posted this recipe.]
