If I could give it ten stars, I would -- this was AWESOME!! I haven't had it at Outback, so can't compare, but it was delicious perfection. I forgot to add the carrots, but it was tasty anyway! Served it with shredded cheddar and a dollop of sour cream on top. I tossed it all in the crockpot before I left for work this morning, put it on "6 hours" (my pot switches to a warming mode after cook time is finished). This is a delicious cake - not too sweet, but sweet enough. The frosting was sooo good! I didn't have red food coloring, so used purple -- interesting color. Heha! The directions don't mention where to add the cocoa in, and I almost forgot it -- I mixed it in at the very end before pouring batter into the pans. 2/14/2010

Made this to go with baby back ribs later tonight -- took a little taste before putting it into the fridge to marinate for the suggested 3-4 hours, and OMG, it's hard to not go dish up a bowl NOW!! My teen son agrees, and we are looking forward to the slaw as much as the ribs tonight!!!! 2/14/2010
