I moved to Montana from a big city and have enjoyed the beautiful scenery here. We are surrounded by mountains and lakes! The 4 seasons we have here add to the overall feel of being out in the country  I also love to spend time with my husband. We love to go hiking, biking, camping and really do any outdoor activity. Gardening is something I also like to do, since I love to cook with fresh ingredients as much as possible. My favorite memory of cooking is when my family would go camping every year to Yosemite for a week. We would take lots of food (we were a family of nine) that we could cook on an outdoor grill/stovetop. My mom would make soups and all sorts of meals(mashed potatoes, fried chicken, pasta etc.) The aromas of the food cooking in the mountains will always be a memory that I will treasure. Food never tasted so good...especially after a long hike!

I love homemade enchiladas, pizza, scones, grilled seafood/ meats and breads. I am always on the lookout for new recipes for homemade bread.

I love trying new/unique recipes and tinker with presentation and style.

My new favorite dish Chicken Tikka Masala...

Thanks for the parchment paper tip!! I will give it a whirl the next time I make those potato wedges. It's such a pain scraping and chipping away at burnt on crusties!! Specially when you have three little ones pulling at you wanting to play!
