My second batch I used 8 cups of blackberries crushed and deseeded. Came out to about 4 1/2cups before the sugar was added. Used Approx 5cups of sugar as I like a little tartness to my jam. Cooked and canned it and it all turned out wonderful. Thanks for the recipe!! — catgurrl 1/23/2014
