Acorn Squash Ravioli

Acorn Squash Ravioli

Expand this recipe by adding cheese, ground meat or other fillings to the ravioli. Use the circle wonton wrappers to get a circular or half moon shape to your ravioli. [I posted this recipe.] — HungryKitten 10/15/2009
Perfect Apple Pie

Perfect Apple Pie

The secret here is pre-cooking the apple mixture. Many recipes use raw apples in the crust. This apple pie secret creates a perfect consistency with well distributed flavor that is not too wet or doughy. You can expand this recipe by adding cheddar cheese on top instead of the Demerara, add cranberries to the apple mixture at the beginning when boiling the water, walnuts can also be added. Cinnamon Rolls with Apple

Cinnamon Rolls with Apple

This recipe can be expanded by adding grated orange zest to the cinnamon filling and adding a tsp of orange juice to the drizzle. Chopped pecans are also a great addition to the filling. Serving these with a ramekin of warm fruit compote or a bowl of vanilla yogurt makes for a nice breakfast. [I posted this recipe.] — HungryKitten 10/10/2009

Just saw your Santa Soup, it looks really good and kind of a spin off of Italian Wedding soup. I have added it to my MUST TRY list. I just posted my Ray's Tons "O" Mushroom Soup, like your Santa Soup, it is good when it is cold outside. Looking over your other recipes too.. they look good.

Thank you for the medal on my bread cones. I am glad you like it. This recipe is more of a bread recipe than a pastry. So, I am not sure how it would go with a mousse/pudding filling. But, if you try it, let me know how it comes out. I know you can do a similar recipe using puff pastry. Anyway, I am glad you like it. We sure do!
