US Navy Bean SoupThis recipe was very good. However, I felt it needed a bit more flavor than the printed recipe. I used more ham as I did not have a ham bone. A whole "bunch" of celery seemed excessive, so I only used 4 stalks. I added a bay leaf, salt and pepper, and 1/2 cup of ketchup. Next time I will use tomato sauce instead of the ketchup, as I think it has more concentrated flavor. Overall, this is a very good recipe and I will make it again.
