I live in Southern California but am a Southen girl by blood..  I am a travel agent so I love to travel.  I love trying new things and new foods.  We enjoy all the culture Atlanta has to offer including so many restaurants that we could never try them all.  I love seafood and pasta.  I am a confessed cupcake lover!  I like trying new recipes and often do so several times a week.

Antipasto Skewers

Antipasto Skewers

We swapped the artichokes for provolone cheese because I don't like artichokes. Then we lightly drizzled them with olive oil, sprinkled oregano and parsley on them and took them to the beach for our picnic lunch. They were delicious and worked perfect as picnic food. — ees55 7/26/2014
Weight Watcher Mexican Lasagna

Weight Watcher Mexican Lasagna

Oh my! This was so good. I made a couple changes by making 3 layers, using 8 oz shredded cheddar with the cottage cheese and topping it with 8 oz shredded Mexican blend. By cutting the portion size down to 9 servings, it actually dropped the points value to 7. It was so cheesy and yummy. We ate it for 3 meals! — number1wizkid 6/13/2014
Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Apples (Weight Watchers)

Pork Roast with Sauerkraut and Apples (Weight Watchers)

The pork was tender but very dry. The sauerkraut had good flavors. I doubt we'll try this one again. — gstoy 6/13/2014
Weight Watcher's Zero Points Garden Vegetable Soup

Weight Watcher's Zero Points Garden Vegetable Soup

Recipe left off the 3 Cups of Vegetable broth. — kicaza 6/1/2014
Turkey and Quinoa Mexican Stuffed Peppers

Turkey and Quinoa Mexican Stuffed Peppers

We LOVED these. Much better than the old version of stuffed peppers. They felt lighter and healthier. We had extra filling left over and put it in tortillas for lunch the next day. So good! — katalholt 2/22/2014
Kielbasa with Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream Sauce

Kielbasa with Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream Sauce

This was really good. The combination of textures and flavors worked well. I used stone ground mustard not Dijon and I doubled the amount of mustard and cream so it would create more of a sauce. Would have been nice with a side of Rye or dark wheat bread. — aisha 10/2/2013
Leek and Bacon Pasta

Leek and Bacon Pasta

This was really good although I thought it was time consuming, it turned out to be worth it. I was worried about the bacon being chewy but that was not the case at all. I cut the recipe in half and it still made plenty for 4 people. — Milosalbreht 8/28/2013
Crockpot BBQ Chicken and Oven Fries

Crockpot BBQ Chicken and Oven Fries

Was delicious! Be sure not to leave it in the crockpot too long, which we did but it still tasted delicious. The potatoes didn't really work for us...they stuck to the aluminum foil and never got crispy. — allymhall 8/15/2013
Savory Hot Dog Chili

Savory Hot Dog Chili

I didn't process the meat either because cooking all 3 lbs at once and stirring pretty constantly makes the meat small anyway. The batch is pretty big but freezes nicely in smaller containers. The flavors were well developed. We used it for both hot dogs and Cincinnati chili. — MorituriMax 8/12/2013
Slow Cooker Carnitas (Pulled Pork)

Slow Cooker Carnitas (Pulled Pork)

So good as tacos...will use the leftover meat for BBQ egg rolls later in the week. So good!! — Firebyrd 8/8/2013
Vegetable Beef Barley Soup

Vegetable Beef Barley Soup

We also added a packet of French Onion soup mix as well as a couple of extra carrots and onion. We used leftover beef pot roast meat, which I added with the broth. This was the most flavorful beef soup I have ever had. It makes plenty which we are glad for because it's certainly something I can eat again and again. Thanks for the recipe. — Cherylbythesea630 8/7/2013
Chicken Scallopine W/mushroom Sauce

Chicken Scallopine W/mushroom Sauce

We made this with veal instead of chicken and it was oh my gosh! good. The sauce is just incredible. We used beef broth in lieu of chicken broth and 2 types of mushrooms (button and shiitake) sliced super thin. It was served with whipped potatoes and thin green beans. The sauce went nicely on the potatoes as well. Also, we used the green portion of the onion at the very end like a garnish on the sauce which added a nice texture and flavor. 8/4/2013
Caramel Apple Salad

Caramel Apple Salad

This was so good. I used a combination of golden delicious and granny smith apples and just drizzled the caramel on lightly. I also added lots of nuts to the top because my family loves them. I think the salt from the nuts helped cut down on the sweetness because it was just right. It was a great dessert for the beach. — ladybugplus 8/2/2013
Blackberry Salad with Blackberry Vinaigrette

Blackberry Salad with Blackberry Vinaigrette

This was sooo good. The combination of blackberries and goat cheese was amazing. I used romaine lettuce but I think next time I'll try arugula for the bit of peppery flavor it would add. — deeder5 7/30/2013
Grilled Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Grilled Flank Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

The sauce did not have enough parsley or garlic in it. — cleverkt 7/12/2013
Jamaican Jerk Chicken

Jamaican Jerk Chicken

This was nice and spicy. We all loved it. Paired it with peas and rice, yum! 4/6/2013
Hasselback Potatoes

Hasselback Potatoes

These were easy to make but need a much longer cooking time. They did get nice and crisp but lacked flavor. May try again with some additional seasonings. — fireb4smoke 4/6/2013
Crockpot Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin

Crockpot Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin

This was so good. Tender and sweet and spicy. So easy to make. — Hippiehello 4/6/2013
Chicken and Dumplings

Chicken and Dumplings

This was really good! The best dumplings I've made, ever. They were moist and light. I made my own chicken stock which helped with the flavor. Be sure to use plenty of salt. I also doubled the recipe on the dumplings and upped the chicken stock by half. Easy to make too. — cook1234567 3/22/2013
Strawberry and goat cheese salad

Strawberry and goat cheese salad

This was so good! I made a few changes just for some variety...I used arugula as the lettuce which added a peppery flavor and added toasted sliced almonds for crunch. The flavors and texture worked wonderfully together. — yasminash 3/22/2013
