I live in Suffield, Connecticut. I'm a 20 year old early childhood educator, I love children of all ages. I live with my boyfriend and our son Jacob who was born in January(07). I'm the youngest of four children, I have 6 nephews and 4 neices. We all live in the same small town and we spend a lot of our time together.
There isn't much food I don't enjoy. My father always had a very big and bountiful garden since I was a little girl, and we also hunt for food throughout the year and fish year round. I have Polish and Italian heritage, which influenced a lot of my cooking habits, but I also enjoy spicy Mexican food, Oriental food (except Sushi), and American Cuisine. Fancy wines and French foods are wasted on me, I don't enjoy a lot of French foods, unless its dessert. I'm a fabulous cook and a wonderful baker, I love to decorate cakes and cookies. Holidays are always special and filling, big meals and button-busting desserts.Christmas time means cookies of all kinds, cookie bars, fudge from scratch, breads, muffins, pies; anything you can package and give out to family. We send a huge box of Fudge and cookies to relatives in Florida, weighing in close to 30 lbs. most years. My Mother and my Aunt influenced my cooking and baking, they taught me great techniques and ways to doctor anything up.
