Roasted Cauliflower with Pamesan and Bread Crumbs

Roasted Cauliflower with Pamesan and Bread Crumbs

I've made this a few times; it's always very good. Used less EVOO with some oil spray to cut down on the fat. — Choclab65 4/13/2014

Corned Beef Hash

Corned Beef Hash

Post St. Pat's leftovers meal: Made this without the butter; used butter-flavor spray to cut fat. Took off all visible fat from meat, did not add extra salt. Used one large cloves garlic and equal amounts of onions, meat and potatoes; each was probably about the amount in the recipe (but I'm not big on measuring everything when I can "eyeball it"). Followed all the cooking directions. Even without the fat, this is the best CB Hash we've had. I won't order the canned stuff in a restaurant, but we go to a few places that make it fresh on site. This was still better! Will make it again for sure. 3/19/2014
Roast Pork Loin with Bacon and Brown Sugar Glaze

Roast Pork Loin with Bacon and Brown Sugar Glaze

Cooked a 3 lb bone in roast using rub and glaze as described in the recipe except did not use bacon. Roasted fat side up at 400 convection for 10 mins then reduced to 325 convection for 1 hour, then only about 5 mins after glazing; delicious! A great change from our usual garlic-herb or bbq pork roast. Will make for company with the bacon! Thanks for posting. — Turkeymingo 3/18/2014

Buffalo Chicken Wings

Buffalo Chicken Wings

An alternative is to bake wings on a rack placed on a foil covered cookie sheet 425F for 30 to 45 minutes until crispy. No need to drain. Then toss with sauce. Excellent! 2/4/2014
Christmas Punch

Christmas Punch

This is really good. Usex Splenda to make the syrup but still used 1\2 of the amount called for as didn't want it overly sweet. Also used no suger added juices - very fresh tasting drink — devclaw 12/24/2013

Bacon wrapped chicken

Made these for those who don't like scallops; big hit! I microwaved the bacon a bit before wrapping to speed up the crisping time. — jzopf 12/24/2013
Garlic Herb Crusted Boneless Pork Sirloin Roast

Garlic Herb Crusted Boneless Pork Sirloin Roast

Very nice herb-garlic crust, will make again. I let the roast sit about a half hour after 'rubbing' before roasting. Tossed some quartered Yukon gold potatoes with the same herbs & EVO and roasted along with the meat. Will — AZClaire 12/16/2013

Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings

Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings

We've had restaurant Parmesan garlic wings so I looked for a recipe to make them at home. This is a good one. just make sure to bake your wings nice and crispy. Might want to add some might want to use butter like I did and add some olive oil to it — gkrist 11/25/2012
Garlicky Hummus

Garlicky Hummus

Thanks for this great basic recipe. Try using roasted garlic rather than raw. Add as much as you have or like; the rich, buttery, sweet roasted taste is wonderful. Save the liquid when you drain the chick peas then add some if you think it is too dry. 10/10/2012

Chicken, Zucchini and Prosciutto

Chicken, Zucchini and Prosciutto

Searched with ingredients "chicken breast" and "zucchini"; this was top recipe. I, too, used bacon. It was delicious! Who knew bacon would complement squash so well (but then again, it is BACON). I added some fresh shredded basil at the end just before the lemon. Do not leave out the lemon, it really makes the dish. — debk830 10/9/2012
French Toast

French Toast

This is how my mom & her mom made French toast! And me too of course. Cinnamon & vanilla make it different than other recipes. More like desert than breakfast. Add a bit of nutmeg if you like. — Sjbgamer 8/24/2012
