Snickerdoodles
Bonjour!

I am an American Citizen, living in Tahiti with my French husband and three children.  I am  the co/owner of a buiness in the United States called Heartfelt Passions.
We live on the beach here in Tahiti so I spend a lot of time there. I still have regular things I do around the house everyday, don't we all! I like to read and surf the net and I love to cook most of the time.  I was born and raised in Southern California and have lived there most of my life.

I Love cooking new types of cuisine.
I like downhome southern comfort foods on occasion but don't get to prepare them much here. I love to make decadent desserts that people ohhh and awww over.................I make a very decadent brownie that people swoon over!
My Grandmother was a cook from the southern part of the United States so I grew up with things like bisquits and gravy, Potato salad, corn bread dressing, turkey gravy that was always yellow, it goes great with that corn bread dressing. She would always have some great egg custard in her fridge for me whenever I would come to visit. BUT NOWADAYS....I don't cook like that so much. I am using far less sugar, in fact mostly no sugar at all........life is so much sweeter when you can really taste it.

New York Cheesecake

New York Cheesecake

I have made many cheesecakes and in order to have it come out with NO cracks you must bake in a water bath. Be sure to line your Springform pan with parchment also. ;)

Penne with Mushroom Sauce

This is a great dish. I made this as a side dish to accompany a T-bone steak dinner. It was superb served with the fabulous wine I used to make the sauce. I will make this again and again. ...........I had to post my pictures here as well.
