Old-Fashioned Caramel CakeI lost my grandmother in 2008, and I thought that her caramel cake was gone with her. To taste this cake was to be in the kitchen with her again. The only thing that I would do would be add a bit more butter so it would have the buttery flavor found in a pound cake, and use soft as silk in place of the flour. The cake holds together better. Excellent recipe, makes a great cake!
