Quick Chicken Enchilada Soup

Quick Chicken Enchilada Soup

This was much better the following day because it thickened up some. I followed the recipe but added 3 tablespoons of Mexican spice mix to it in the end to give it a bit more flavor. — KaitCav 10/17/2014

Couscous with sweet potato and zucchini

Couscous with sweet potato and zucchini

Well based on the reviews I was expecting more of a "WOW" from my finicky clan but all I got was an "it's okay". I personally enjoyed it and since I ended up eating all the leftovers I think it improved as it set. If I make it again I would do maybe a 1/2 batch more of the dressing because I liked a little more on it. — SassySW 8/19/2014
Easiest Pumpkin Muffins/Bread/Cookies Ever

Easiest Pumpkin Muffins/Bread/Cookies Ever

I made this 3 different ways this morning. To Each I added 15 oz fresh pumpkin with some nutmeg, gr. clove, cinnamon and all spice added. I did also add to all 3 recipes 3 eggs, 1/2 to 1 cup water (depend upon the consistency I needed), 1/4 cup oil. 1st cake was a bundt cake. Made with the above Ingred. and a white cake mix. I added about a cup of walnuts and baked it at 350 for about 45 minutes. T2nd was with a chocolate cake mice I don't do anything fancy to it just basic. The 3rd I made into cookies. I had to adds cup of all purpose flour to the mix to make it cookie consistency. This way the cookies didn't flatten out when baking. I also added chocolate chips to the batter. They took about 8-10 minutes to cook. The cookies are light and really yummy tasting. — jschn549 4/10/2014

Walnut Cookies

Walnut Cookies

taste wonderful, but expensive (all those walnuts) to make and time consuming. I found the dough was not the easiest to roll out and needed LOTS of flower to do so, then I have to brush the extra flour away (with a pastry brush) before putting the filling on so that the edges would seal right before rolling up. — sgrishka 3/19/2014
Crock Pot Beer Chicken

Crock Pot Beer Chicken

Really liked how easy this was. Be careful not to over cook. I cooked it on low for 6 hours and it was starting to get dry. Next time I'll check it at 5 or 5 1/2 hours. I LOVED the beer sauce in the end but I couldn't figure out how to make a sauce from it. — davidbrooks1 3/13/2014

Lunch Box- Bulgur Salad with Grapes and Feta Cheese

Lunch Box- Bulgur Salad with Grapes and Feta Cheese

I found this recipe very easy to make. I liked that it only made enough for 2 servings since I'm the only one in my house that likes this kind of food. I did find that it tasted and texture was better the day I made it. It was a great meal to bring to after school sporting event to munch on. Thanks for sharing it. — khandih 9/9/2009
