Kate's Apple Cake(This is my favorite recipe for apple cake. Very good served warm with vanilla ice cream. You can also make a cream cheese frosting and either spread over top or serve a dollop on the plate with the cake OR serve with a dollop of Cool Whip.) CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 3 T. butter or margarine, softened 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1/8 t. salt 1 t. vanilla extract Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar and salt, beating until blended. Stir in vanilla. Yield: 1 2/3 cups. [I posted this recipe.]

Liz's Holiday Fruit DropsIt always seems to me that the temp. and time baked isn't right. The last time that I baked them, they were perfect baking at 375 degrees for 9 1/2 min. I always end up having to experiment on a couple of batches to get the baking temp and time right, but there's so much batter that you can afford to throw away a few batches. [I posted this recipe.]
