Crockpot Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin

Crockpot Brown Sugar and Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin

This recipe is definitely all about the glaze/sauce. My husband and I are generally not fans of pot roast (which this basically is), but with the sauce it is pretty tasty. I'm not sure I would make this exact recipe again, but I may make the glaze with some cut up chicken and serve it with fried rice or over pasta. — Hippiehello 11/20/2013
Baked Chicken Chimichangas

Baked Chicken Chimichangas

My whole family enjoyed this dish, including my 2 year old. It was about as simple and quick as a meal can possibly be and tasted pretty good. When I flipped my chimi's, some of them burst open, but I think I may have over filled them. — Mferguson408 11/16/2013

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Wonderful flavor! Even my 4 year old that only wants to eat hotdogs and chicken nuggets, gobbled up this chicken without complaint! The chicken was moist and full of delicious flavor. My husband wanted some of the marinade as a dipping sauce, which I may have to set aside next time I prepare this. Thanks for sharing this recipe! — smobrien 12/11/2012
Manicotti

Manicotti

As far as recipes go, this was very easy to prepare. The taste however seemed a little bland to me and the meat filling seemed dry. If I make this again, I will add some cottage or ricotta to the meat filling, maybe make my own sauce instead of the packets and cook on a lower setting. The bottoms of the manicotti cooked a little too fast and were tough and slightly burnt. — Firebyrd 12/10/2012
Original King Ranch Chicken

Original King Ranch Chicken

I did as another reviewer suggested and added a can of green chilis and some sour cream to the mixture which I think helped a lot. I thought this meal had good flavor, but no one else in my family liked and didnt even finish their plates... probably wont make this again, since this is a lot of food for just one person. — webtexan 12/1/2012
Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs

Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs

This recipe was pretty good and easy, though it didn't blow me away with flavor. My husband suggested shredding the left overs, put in on a hoagie roll, top with mozz. cheese and toast it... so I may try to do that with the left overs. — Bob630 11/30/2012

Baked Chicken Breasts - Crockpot (To Die For!!)

I followed the directions precisely, but my chicken came out dry and bland. None of my family cared for it and now I am trying to figure out what I can turn the left overs into. 11/16/2012

Thyme Chicken and Rice Skillet Dinner

Thyme Chicken and Rice Skillet Dinner

For me, the chicken was a bit dry and lacked the flavor I hoped it would have. The rice however was wonderful. I added celery, green and red peppers and some seasoned salt. If I make this dish again, I will probably use dark meat like chicken thighs or maybe even pork chops. — mealplanningmom 11/1/2012
Big Jim's Seafood Gumbo

Big Jim's Seafood Gumbo

This was a delicious gumbo recipe. I added a can of diced tomoatos and some chopped ham and chicken instead of the crab and oysters. It was simple and I'm sure it will taste even better the next day. — thetitan99 10/17/2012

LOVE it!! I made this with a chicken in white wine recipe that I also found on BigOven. Amazingly good. My 8 year old said that I need to make this again and again... so I think I will! — amieiscooking 6/15/2012
