I grew up in Louisiana, but have been in Colorado for 10 years. My husband and I have 2 girls, who are great, non-fussy eaters - whew!! My favorite two places to be are in the kitchen or outside. I love being in the kitchen creating recipes, feeding my family, anything really. Outside, I love biking, hiking, camping, again anything that's outdoors.

For someone who loves cooking and eating, trying to pick favorites is almost impossible. My super, duper favorite ever food that I don't get to make very often is crawfish etoufee - mmmm! On a more realistic, daily basis - I love anything Mexican. Just pile on the cheese, guacamole, and sour cream and I am a happy girl. I like making crockpot recipes the most, just because they are so easy. My first memory of cooking is my mom teaching me to make meatloaf when I was about 12. I still make it the exact same way.
