This one is going from "try it soon" to regular staple around my house! This was AWESOME! Delicious, not to bad to prepare (stove does the cooking) and did I say delicious? I prepared exactly as the directions state. I would say that all in all it is on the smaller side of 4 servings so you might want to ramp it up a bit. — Firebyrd 6/19/2012
Bang Bang Shrimp

Bang Bang Shrimp

Easy to prepare, easy to cook, easy to devour!!! These make a great appetizer / snack. As with the other reviews, I went ahead and used the 3:1 ratio of tablespoons of the spicy chili sauce to pound of shrimp. Had people hovering over me waiting on the second batch to get done! — crew 6/16/2012
Frito Chili Pie

Frito Chili Pie

Pretty tasty! Before I give my complete rundown on this dish I do want to respond to a couple of other reviews below. For one, you may read that this dish left the chips soggy. To prevent this you must do not follow the directions on the taco packet that calls for you to add water and make sure you drain the can of corn very well. If you fail to do these two things you will get soggy chips. Simply add the taco packet to the undrained hamburger along with the onion and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Layer as directed and you should be good to go when it comes out of the oven. As far as what the dish is 'lacking', I found that a dollop of sour cream on the top finished the dish off nicely and nothing else was really required. All in all this is a cheap family dish that can serve 5-6 quite easily with the potential for leftovers still there. It tastes like chili flavored Frito's and there is nothing wrong with that if you are into them. My family all seemed to like it and re — flowaites 2/27/2012
