Chicken Soup

Chicken Soup

I gave this a very good rating because this was a very good simple soup and I loved the commentary in the instructions :) I already had a cooked roasted chicken so I had to change it up a bit. I added all the spices, subbed chili pepper flakes for the Tabasco and went a little but crazy with the veggies (see picture). I just cooked the potatoes & carrots.until boil, added chicken and veggies and then on low for for 15 mins 3/28/2014
Chicken and Mushroom Goulash with Gnocchi

Chicken and Mushroom Goulash with Gnocchi

I used a 1/2 a lb of hamburger, 1/2 a lb of spicy Italian sausage & Gluten free gnocchi with 1 cup of chicken bullion. It was really good. My husband went for seconds. I was impressed. Thanks for the posting. — aldrichmh 3/24/2014
Easy Strawberry Cream Cheese Icing

Easy Strawberry Cream Cheese Icing

My mother-in-law requested a strawberry cake. I used this as the icing. Everyone love it! Very simple recipe, with pleasantly surprising good results. Thanks for the posting! — HelenAngel 3/16/2014
German Salad Dressing

German Salad Dressing

There's a little German restaurant near our house. We love there salad dressing and when we invited my in-laws over for a German themed dinner, I really wanted to duplicate the restaurants dressing. This was so close and so delicious. Everyone lived it! I toned down the sugar, but otherwise, it was perfect! Thank you! — avilawalker 1/28/2014
Ravioli In Cream Sauce

Ravioli In Cream Sauce

I used a parm/Romano cheese mix and we didn't have any half and half so I made my own with 1cup milk and 1 cup heavy cream. My husband loved it! Thanks! — moonpie1 12/2/2013
Turkey Chili

Turkey Chili

Makes a lot! Tasted pretty good, but seemed to be . Missing something. Oh, well. It could have just been the taco sauce I used. I used Mc Cormick. Also, I didn't have as much Turkey as I thought, so I used some spicy Italian sausage. It was a good touch. — RedneckDonkeyRanch 11/25/2013

'da best homemade Salsa

'da best homemade Salsa

This really came out pretty darn good (as seen in the second picture posted for this recipe). I threw all of the ingredients in our Ninja but I added two cloves of fresh garlic and substituted a hand full of fresh cilantro instead of dried. Delicious! — Dsallison 3/31/2013
All Bran Wheat Bran Muffins

All Bran Wheat Bran Muffins

Do not use paper muffin cups, they will stick to the bottom of the muffin. Also, don't be alarmed...after all the ingredients are mixed, the mixture will be sticky. — Mrsswill 3/24/2013
Sauteed Chicken Breast with Sherried Mushroom Cream Sauce

Sauteed Chicken Breast with Sherried Mushroom Cream Sauce

We've made this several times. For ourselves and for company. We love it and our company jut raved about it! I've also made it gluten free with multi purpose gluten free flour. The gravy desires a little more liquid in that version, but. It was still delicious! — swibirun 3/24/2013
Italian Sausage Fettucine

Italian Sausage Fettucine

I made a couple of tweaks to the recipe according to what the reviews stated and because I am gluten free. I used half milk and half heavy cream and I started off sautéing the onion & some carrots and then added 1 & 1/2 tbsp of GF flour. Result: the hubby loved it! That always scores A+ in my book. Thanks! — swibirun 3/24/2013
Microwave Hollandaise Sauce

Microwave Hollandaise Sauce

Wish I had read the reviews before making this. Didn't make it to the second microwaving, it curdled right away. What a waste! Luckily, I found another recipe that had me prepare it on the stove and it worked perfectly. This recipe seems to work for others, guess it was just me. — smd2lax 3/24/2013

Italian Meatballs (a "foodwishes" Recipe)

Excellent recipe! It was a definite hit with my family. Thanks for posting it! Btw, I made this another time for some out of town visitors. One of them is considered a really good cook and even she was impressed. Thanks for making me look good! — jupiter7 3/24/2013
Eggs Benedict with Easy Hollandaise

Eggs Benedict with Easy Hollandaise

This recipe saved my breakfast! I'd never made Hollandaise sauce from scratch before so out of sheer expectation that all recipes were about the same, I went with another which detailed using the microwave instead of the stove to make this. BIG mistake! Dont do it. It was a curdling disaster! I found this one an it worked like a charm! Thanks soooo much! — CayleeGrey 3/24/2013
Turkey Soup for the Slow Cooker

Turkey Soup for the Slow Cooker

We had some left over turkey tenderloin so we cubed it up and added two potatoes and at the very end, threw in some kale on top. The result was incredible! I actually looked forward to leftovers the next day!nthanks so much for this posting. — aldrichmh 3/6/2013
Spicy Fried Chicken

Spicy Fried Chicken

I divided this recipe in half since I only had 2 thick chicken breasts which I quartered. I also used gluten free all-purpose flour. I didn't really expect much since gluten free flour is so unpredictable. I was pleasantly surprised though. It turned out crispy on the outside and juicy inside. It definitely had a good kick to it as well. I will be making this again! — catgurrl 3/6/2013
Easy Chicken Pot Pie (gluten-free)

Easy Chicken Pot Pie (gluten-free)

The taste of the inside was good, but I didn't think it made enough to cover the top completely. I would double it next time, or better yet, use GF bisquick and follow the recipe for their pot pie topping which is both good and way. — ladyithis 2/28/2013

Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake

Best Gluten Free Bread

Best Gluten Free Bread

I am a new member of the gluten free lifestyle so I have been looking around big oven & other recipe resources to find new and appetizing alternatives. This bread is as promised. As close to regular homemade bread as your gunna get gluten free. I added caraway & sesame seeds. It seemed to give it a much richer flavor. Thanks a bunch for the posting! — lizzard33 2/28/2013
